FEBRUARY #CANDO# WOMAN OF THE MONTH

Congratulations!

The Young Politicians and Leaders Network through its CanDo Woman Initiative honors Mrs Ethel Adjorlolo Marfo as the CAN DO WOMAN for the month of February 2020

Ethel Adjorlolo Marfo is a CIMG award winning Social Entrepreneur (2016), who is shaping African Boys to ‘LEAD CHANGE’ through #TheRaisingBoysRightAdvocacy by Junior Shapers Africa.

J.S.A is a non-profit personal development initiative established in Ghana since 2015 to provide a special kind of education for boys to prepare them for Responsible Fatherhood and Pro-feminist leadership via 4 thematic areas; Values, Life Skills, Agribusiness Skils & SDGs 4.5.8.10.13. JSA also seeks to address the challenges of mellenials at risk of vices/depression/bad mental health via self-discovery workshops.
JSA also supports inmates of the senior correctional centre in Accra by selling their handmade crafts at fairs to raise funds to support the inmates to integrate better into society with a profitable skill. JSA Mentees are annually tasked to raised funds to support the education of girls and youth in a rural Community known as Somnyamekodur in the Central Region.

Other empowering/educative initiatives pioneered by Ethel are; Salon Cuties which started as a kiddie hair salon for girls in 2012 and now empowering pre-teen girls through S.T.E.M & Self-Leadership Bootcamps. The other initiative is (All Moms in Leadership) for powering family & business goals of mothers via trade & learning opportunities.

Hitherto founding JSA, Ethel worked with a few achievement-oriented institutions in her capacity as a Comms & Marketing Professional between 2003-2015. In March 2015 Ethel took a deliberate decision to put her professional career on hold to raise her 3 daughters in their formative years while nurturing other humanitarian interests. Four years on, Ethel is currently a freelance Strategic Comms Advisor coaching young JSA mentees to market agribusiness ventures and a segment of budding female entrepreneurs to repackage their business offerings through effective PR & Marketing Communications tools.
Ethel is poised for Strategic Comms & CSR jobs in 2020 to aid her longterm non-profiit initiatives.
Contact; @ethelmarfoconsult@gmail.com for PR , CSR and Strategic Communications Support.

“I am totally fulfilled offering solutions to some of the needs in our soceity via Strategic Communications”.
